Mrs. Jana Amyx, Practice Manager

Jana is a cum laude graduate from the University of North Texas.  She has worked within legal and corporate industries for over twenty-five years, most recently, in sales for FedEx Custom Critical.  Jana and her husband, James Amyx, have three grown children including Dr. Jim Amyx and four grandchildren.  Their home is graced by the presence of their sweet Labrador Retriever mix, Taylor and their black Chihuahua, Jack.  When she is not doting on her grandchildren, Jana is an active member of her church, Fellowship of The Woodlands, and Benders Landing Emptynesters group.  After working many years in corporate business, Jana embraces the small business advantage of getting to know each of our clients and patients well.  Please feel free to contact her with any concern you may have.








Christina Dampier, Co-Practice Manager

Christina joined the FSVH family as a Veterinary Assistant in February 2010.  She has since been promoted to Office Manager/Veterinary Technician.  Although born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Christina was raised in Houston, Texas.  After five (5) years in corporate veterinary medicine, Christina moved to the FSVH  private practice and loves it.  Christina and her husband, James,  share their home with two (2) furry, four-legged children:  Beenie, a Chihuahua and Pixel, a German Shepherd.  Christina, being a "computer geek," spends her leisure time with James on computers, going to church, and caring for her pets.



Courtney Curry, Lead Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant

Courtney, life-long Spring, TX resident, has just completed Real Estate School and is currently attending Lone Star College.  While she is a licensed real estate agent, she plans to complete her studies at Texas A&M University.   Courtney simply loves school.  She loves to be a real estate agent and she loves veterinary medicine.  Her passion is to "care for those who can't care for themselves - animals."  Courtney has been a veterinary hospital receptionist for three  (3) years and is also training to be a Veterinary Assistant.  Courtney is one of ten (10) children.  She resides with Ryan, her fiance; Bailey, her Catahoula mix; and Ginger, her chocolate Labrador Retriever

 




Erin Gounarides, Veterinary Assistant

Erin began working for FSVH in 2009.  She has been working as a Veterinary Assistant in Veterinary Medicine for almost twelve (12) years, working two of those years at the 249 Animal Emergency Hospital in Houston.  She has experience working with both large and small animals.  Erin grew up with horses; barrel raced, bred, and trained horses.  She is currently attending school to become a police officer.  Erin lives in Magnolia, TX on a 3-acre homestead with her husband, David; her 4-year-old son, Kayden; her Great Dane, Holly; her English Bulldog, Chesty; and her three cats - Casey, Prada, and Rumor.  Erin loves to spend time with her family and pet sit for friends.





Keith Knott, Veterinary Assistant

Keith joined FSVH in 2010.  Keith has worked several years both in Human medicine and Veterinary medicine - as an Emergency Care Medical Assistant in human medicine and a Veterinary Assistant in Veterinary medicine.  Keith’s love of animals began early as a child growing up on his parents’ farm.   Keith lives with his wife, Holly, and their two cats – Nika and Pitty.  He is currently pursuing admission to Pharmacy School and enjoys horseback riding, exercising, and being with Holly in his spare time.




Misty Doss, Veterinary Assistant

Misty has worked eight (8) years in Veterinary emergency and critical care medicine, while also working relief in Veterinary private practice during the day.  Misty met and worked with Dr. Amyx at the 249 Animal Emergency Clinic.  She has been working for FSVH as a relief technician since 2008.  Misty loves caring for her husband, daughter, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.  Misty shares her home with Wood, a chocolate Labrador Retriever; Spot, a Catahoula mix; and two cats, Scarlett and Tortuga.  Misty's past-time is family, staying active in her church, and going to the beach!

 

 







Clayton Neely, Veterinary Assistant

Clayton, a life long resident of Spring, Texas, has been a Veterinary Assistant for almost seven years.  Additionally, Clayton has worked as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for Texas Children's Hospital for four years.  He is currently attending ITT-Tech majoring in Drafting and Design.  Clayton lives in The Woodlands, TX with his fiancee, Lendsi; his 2-year-old daughter, Bella; his boxer, Jamie; and his pitbull, Jessie.
