FSVH Vaccination Clinic

Four Seasons Veterinary Hospital (FSVH) now has a discounted vaccination clinic the 2nd Saturday of every month. FSVH has created this clinic to assist our clients and neighbors during the tough economic conditions present. Every pet needs and deserves their vaccinations and we want to help make that possible.

The clinic is held at our hospital from 12 pm to 4pm. No appointment is necessary; it is "First Come, First Serve."

It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. We understand your pet plays a special role in your family and we are dedicated to becoming a partner in your pet’s health care. We treat your pet as we would our own which is one reason we recommend your pet receives his/her annual vaccinations.

FeLV                                                   $18

Feline leukemia virus (FeLV), a retrovirus, so named because of the way it behaves within infected cells. The virus is shed in very high quantities in saliva and nasal secretions, but also in urine, feces, and milk from infected cats. Cat-to-cat transfer of virus may occur from a bite wound, during mutual grooming, and (though rarely) through the shared use of litter boxes and feeding dishes. Feline leukemia virus adversely affects the cat's body in many ways.  Over time—weeks, months, or even years—the cat's health may progressively deteriorate or be characterized by recurrent illness interspersed with periods of relative health. Signs can include: Loss of appetite, slow but progressive weight loss, followed by severe wasting late in the disease process, poor coat condition, persistent fever, pale gums and other mucus membranes, infections of the skin, urinary bladder, and upper respiratory tract, persistent diarrhea, seizures, behavior changes, and other neurological disorders and a variety of eye conditions.

FVRCP                                               $12

Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia (FVRCP)

Rhinotracheitis is a severe upper respiratory infection caused by a feline type 1, herpes-virus. The virus is airborne and very contagious in susceptible animals. There are several strains of caliciviruses that affect the cat. They can cause a range of diseases, from a mild almost asymptomatic infection, to life-threatening pneumonia. Most cases show only evidence of problems in the mouth, nasal passages and the conjunctiva (mucus membranes) of the eyes. Panleukopenia (also known as feline distemper and infectious feline enteritis) is a highly contagious disease characterized by a short course and high mortality rate. The first symptom is loss of appetite, followed by vomiting and diarrhea.
